AgustaWestland chopper deal bribery scandal– article by Joginder Singh
West Bengal chief minister,Mamata Banerjee, has approached the major opposition party of the Centre, the BJP, to ask them to support her party,TMC , in their efforts to bring a ‘ no-confidence motion’ against the UPA 2 govt in the upcoming Winter Session of the Parliament !
Congress,on the other-hand has had as many lunches and dinners as possible with Mayawati and Mulayam Singh Yadav, chiefs of BSP and SP parties, respectively,to make sure the calculation of retaining the govt in power does not fall short, at any cost ! 😀
Safeguarding the govt against possible ‘No Confidence Motion’ in the upcoming winter session of the parliament, prime minister,Dr Manmohan Singh met Mulayam Singh, chief of SP, over dinner and Mayawati, chief of BSP,next day, over lunch!
The growing impact of regional parties has led to trend of coalition govts since decades, now.Central govts many a times, stand helpless in front of such allies and under all circumstances its the nation, the economy and the ‘aam aadmi'(common man) which suffer.
To have a better future,is it not time,India be ruled by a single-party?
At last, Mamata Banerjee aka Didi , clicked the trigger of pulling-out from UPA and who else could dare to Bell The Cat ?
With Hamid Ansari being re-elected as the Vice President of India, Congress has managed to Castle the UPA government, even in a situation where there may not be clear results of 2014 Elections and the President needs to decide who to handover the regime ! Pranab Mukheree and Hamid Ansari being UPA candidates are bound to favour Congress, if need be !
Well, BJP or a third front may not be able to break this Castling of Congress but what about Anna’s People’s Party ? Who knows – miracles do happen ! 😀
Rahul Gandhi has recently visited yet another Dalit village near Allahabad , where he had gone to inaugurate a cancer hospital for children. Seems like he is determined to attract Dalit Voters away from BSP ! Although the last state elections did not yield him any result when he had similarly visited several villages addressing and assuring to relieve poor villagers off their problems,if elected ! Nothing worked for him then ! Wish him all the luck in his yet another attempt . 😉
