The newly formed minority BJP govt in Maharashtra will seek a vote of confidence today. Devendra Fadnavis, the 13 day old Chief Minister of Maharashtra is expected to win as NCP with 41 seats has already declared they will stand by the BJP.
Union Minister and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar on Monday apologized for his nephew and Deputy CM of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar’s ‘urine’ remarks that ridiculed the hunger-strike by a drought-affected farmer of the state.In a rally he said where will he give water from when there is no water in the dam . Should he urinate in the dam ? And as expected, the opposition has demanded his resignation !!
This is not the first time uncle Sharad has come to the rescue of Ajit !! Well, I pray we all get a loving uncle like Sharad ji !! 😀
While Salman Khurshid preferred to threaten Arvind Kejriwal,the crusader turned politician,after being accused of scamming in the name of an NGO run by Khurshid and wife,Mr Gadkari from BJP preferred keeping silent while his party and even NCP head,Sharad Pawar and Sena Supremo,Bal Thackeray,also defended Gadkari.Meanwhile,a former Team Kejriwal member accused Kejriwal and IAC of hiding facts of Sharad Pawar about irrigation scam in Maharashtra. Arvind has been accused of targeting specific politicians in his move to expose scam.
Well,it has become very difficult to judge who is corrupt and who is not and if activists turned politicians have actually changed jobs for country’s benefit or their own! Are almost all politicians , corrupt in India? Is it worth trusting a crusader turned politician that he is or never would be like all others he is accusing of being involved in scams? Will our country run on the mercy of our Gods,as ever? There is no denying that most of our leaders are opportunists and the ones who are not are misunderstood because of the corrupt politicians around.
Sharad Pawar, the NCP Union Minister , has dared Arvind Kejriwal to knock the doors of the court if his allegations against Robert Vadra were true rather than asking the government to probe into the matter !
Well,logical enough ! If Arvind Kejriwal has proper proofs it is better to approach the Court of Law,first! However, what makes Sharad Pawar come in defense of Robert Vadra ? 😉
Today, P A Sangma finally submitted his resignation to his party(National Congress Party) co-founder Sharad Pawar which has been accepted. Although he has taken a great risk by declaring to contest against UPA supported Pranab Mukherjee,as her daughter who is a serving minister in UPA government may be asked to quit the post and he himself quit NCP. BJP on the other hand knows NDA has parties like JD(U) and Shiv Sena who are backing Pranab Mukherjee and it would be tough to make Sangma win as the present status reveals UPA has better numbers favouring Pranab Mukherjee. It is upto BJP to give tough contest to Congress supporting Sangma, as he has the support of BJD and ADMK. TMC of UPA which has already declared they do not support Pranab can also be of help to Sangma. Whatever the result be , BJP being the biggest opposition ideally should put up a contest supporting Sangma !
