The fight for CM seat of Tamil Nadu and deepening of crises in AIDMK party is getting intensified with Panneerselvam vs Sasikala Natarajan both claiming the CM seat.
As Tamil Nadu faces the crises of CM, UP is preparing to elect CM again. The SP and Congress have joined hands while BJP has lack of leader face and Mayawati seems confident of getting the CM post yet again.
After being out of politics and the nation for 57 days , Congress VP Rahul Gandhi is going to make a comeback with a rally at Ram Lila Maidan against the Land Acquisition Bill. The Congress says the bill is anti-farmer and representatives of farmers from many states are expected to participate in the rally.
Rahul’s comeback may have given fresh hopes to few in the Congress, however, the revival of Congress seems a distant dream.
Joining the other opposition parties who are demanding Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti’s sacking as Union Minister for her hate speech, Rahul Gandhi and all other opposition leader covered their mouths with black cloth demonstrating they were not allowed to speak in the House of Parliament.

The Delhi High court has declared the ceremony of anointment of Shuban Bukhari as the successor of his father Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari as the Naib Imam of Jama Masjid has no legal sanctity. The Court has questioned the Waqf Board as to why they have not taken any action against the Imam and has issued notice to and sought responses of the Centre, Wakf Board and Imam Bukhari on the three PILs challenging the Imam’s decision to appoint his son as the Naib Imam. The Centre had said that Jama Masjid is a Wakf property and it has to decide how the rule of primogeniture applies on anointment of new Shahi Imam. The court, however, did not ask ‘stay’ the ceremony.
Yet another brutal incident of gang-rape and murder of two dalit sisters in Uttar Pradesh is making to the ‘Breaking News’. The bodies of the girls were found hanging on a tree. The state Govt put on question, got agitated on media while the opposition parties are trying to make most out of the gruesome incident by visiting victims’ family, offering condolences,announcing compensations and demanding CBI probe. Some are even taking the credit of CBI probe because of their intervention.
While Akhilesh Yadav, CM of UP was seen counter-questioning the media for hyping the news,Rahul Gandhi made sure to drive media attention by paying visit to victims’ family. Soon, SP’s local MP, Dharmendra Yadav, followed and with compensation. BSP supremo,Mayawati too included her name in the visitors list and offered compensation to the family while accusing, yet again, the state govt for its ‘jungle raj’.
Reminds of SP supremo-Malayam Singh Yadav’s controversial remark on rapes where he said ‘boys make mistakes.Shouldn’t be hung.’ for rapists. In a state ruled by party of eminent thinkers and politicians like Mulayam Singh, is rape and murder ‘that big a deal’?
The entire nation is waiting for the 2014 Election Poll Results to be announced on May 16th, desperately.

In a short tv speech , Sonia Gandhi,the Congress President is seen appealing to the people of India to defeat the ‘divisive and autocratic forces’ in the nation. She attacked the BJP by claiming their vision is clouded with hatred and falsehood.
Looks like , its little too late now. Had it not been better Congress would have worked all this while ?? Will this last minute appeal really work for Congress ??
