2014 Indian Political Kabaddi
For those who may not be aware of Kabaddi,it is one of the ethnic and old games played in India and neighbouring countries, the name of which originates from Tamil word- ‘ Kai-pidi’ meaning ‘Hold Hands’ .
The 2014 General Elections,in a nutshell,is Modi vs All.From small state level parties to big national level , all seem to be stopping this one man from being the Prime Minister of India 2014. Few are also from within his team. Others are maintaining silence to see the results before reacting and taking decisions.
After all, there are many silent contenders who wish to get the top job,few are known to all and few are waiting for the right opportunity. Almost all the parties are playing to stop Modi , be it newly formed AAP or formed since pre-Independence, Congress.
Regardless of the results of 2014 General Elections,Modi has surely emerged as the only extraordinary Indian politician for who citizens of the nation seem to have divided into two groups – Pro-Modi and Anti-Modi.

Tamil Nadu’s CM Jayalalitha has written to the PM that 13 players from Sri Lanka who are in IPL shall not be allowed to play in Chennai !Well, only politicians know the usage of stopping cricket or cricket players to demonstrate protests against countries ! How does that help ? Oh yes !! vote bank politics ……… 😉
Poor Karunanidhi ! He initiated the protest against Sri Lanka before Jaya by leaving UPA and this time it is Jayalalitha who encashed the Anti-Sri Lankan air in her state ! 🙂
I'll look for another country if I don't find a secular place in India: Kamal Haasan
Questioning the religious tolerance of India, actor and film-maker Kamal Haasan made an emotional statement willing to look for another country if he does not find any secular place in India. Kamal Haasan’s latest 100 crore budgeted film ‘Vishwaroopam‘ has suffered a set back after being opposed by few minority hardliner groups complaining the movie shows Islam in poor light.

Jayalalitha spent Rs 4.5 crores State fund for Mass-Wedding ?
Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalithaa, on Monday presided over a mass marriage ceremony at Tiruverkadu, a temple town on the outskirts of Chennai. 1006 couples got married here and the couples were blessed by ‘Amma’ (Jayalalitha) and were presented with he ‘mangalsutras’ in gold (four grams) and ‘mettis’ (toe-rings) in silver weighing six grams, the brides and grooms were given 28 types of gifts which included silk saris, dhotis, utensils and ‘kamakshi’ lamps. All the brides and bridegrooms were brought to Tiruverkadu on Saturday evening as ‘Amma’ wanted them and their relatives to avoid journeying by night. They came by state transport corporation buses, which were accompanied by a medical team.Amazingly, this mass wedding ceremony broke all caste barriers setting an example of equality among all.Yet amazing was, the state incurred about Rs 4.5 crores on this mass-wedding 😀 while the credit is encashed by the state governmet and the Chief Minister ‘Amma’. Public Money goes for a public welfare and the politicians get praised for doing what they are supposed to do ! 😀
