Chasing an achievable score of 251 made by Pakistan in the 2nd ODI at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens,Team India collapsed at 165 all out,allowing Pakistan a series win (Pakistan wins 2 out of 3 match series) and helping Pakistan retain the record of being unbeatable for India at Eden Gardens .
While,England’s tour to India and a massive Test Series victory over India raised questions on M.S.Dhoni’s ability to captain all three formats and critics claiming a new captain for Test Formats , the One Day Series loss at home by Pakistan may put Dhoni’s captaincy, in all formats, under clouds of strong criticisms!

Briton Ed Hawkins,a sports journalist who has spent several years investigating corruption in cricket,in his yet to be released book-‘Bookie,Gambler,Fixer,Spy’ , has questioned the authenticity of India Vs Pakistan World Cup 2011 Match which India won and eventually the World Cup!
With few Pakistani players, previously, found guilty of being involved in spot-fixing,the claims made in the book cannot be rubbished completely.This may also put Indian Cricket Team’s reputation and achievements to question,as well.
BCCI has invited Pakistan Cricket Team for 3 one-day and 2 twenty20 matches coming December – January. This is the first series since the 26/11 terror attack for which India pointed out Pakistan’s involvement. Pakistani President has welcomed the offer and has written to Indian Prime Minister on the matter!
