Former Uttar Pradesh CM,Mayawati, has said that the large state of Uttar Pradesh should be split into smaller states to facilitate better governance and also supports the formation of Gorkhaland out of West Bengal and Vidarbha out of Maharashtra. The SP is against such splitting of Uttar Pradesh.
Ideally this is a better way for small parties to come to power and remain there for longer period of time because they know the areas of their strong hold in bigger states and good governance is the only sugar-coated pill for splitting states for vested interest.
Andhra Pradesh after a long battle has been split to Telangana and Seemandhra. Some are against this some favour it . Congress has taken this decision prior to 2014 Elections and this move is being considered very strategical by many political critics.
Amendments have been moved to the RTI Act to relieve political parties from being obliged to share details of their funding or how they choose their candidates. the Central Information Commission which ensures the RTI Act is implemented and public queries are answered by government departments, ruled that the six major national parties including the Congress and BJP are public authorities and must respond to RTI applications and in return, parties had argued that they are monitored and accountable for funding and other issues to the Election Commission hence should be exempted from RTI Act .
Akhilesh run SP govt has been severely criticized by the IAS body and retired bureaucrats over suspension of IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal, who had cracked down on the sand mafia in Greater Noida. The opposition parties accused Akhilesh Govt of favouring the sand mafias. They claimed the IAS officer was targeted because she red-flagged illegal sand mining being promoted in the area.
Former UP chief minister , Mayawati , criticized Congress and its leaders for commenting on meals available for Rs 5 and Rs 12 and stated their comments indicate how far are they from ground realities. Mayawati ji is the same CM of UP who spent crores and crores of money on erecting statues of elephants (her party symbol) making parks of Dalit Leaders of past and astonishingly she got her statue done as well. 😀 Think poor people can live without meals but not without the statues of their beloved leaders . 😀 😀 😀 Does the Congress know that??? 😀
After Congress leader Rasheed Masood claimed that it is possible for a person to buy a meal for Rs 5 in Delhi and that even he spends less than 5 bucks for his meals, spokesperson Raj Babbar claimed proper meal in Mumbai for Rs 12.Now its the Union Minister Farooq Abdullah who said one can have a full meal for just Re 1 if desired depends on what he wants to eat.
With the politicians giving such statements,it is the poor Stand-Up Comedians who are bound to loose TRP of their comedy shows as our politicians seem to be cracking great jokes. 😀 Sorry Kapil ( not Sibal ji and not Dev ji) enhance thy art . Our politicians are doing better. 😀
Congress leader and a renowned actor of his times,Raj Babbar ,hit out at the BJP over the poverty figure debate and said he can have a proper meal for Rs 12 in Mumbai even today. 😀
I am sure I don’t need to write anything else . You can giggle as much you want. 😀
I guess, his appetite is 2 Vada Paos, per meal !!
The Samajwadi Party has demanded Election Commission to ban BJP’s poster mentioning Modi’s statement in public – “I am a Hindu Nationalist” .About 50 posters showing Modi’s statement in public-“I am a Hindu Nationalist” has been displayed in Mumbai.Abu Azmi senior leader of SP has asked EC to ban these posters and has mentioned his reasons out there in his letter.
Well, nothing much to say – Wish to know what is wrong with being a Hindu Nationalist ?? Big Deal! I am no hardcore NaMo fan but come on .. ain’t this too much? If this statement is being non-secular then better Indians be asked not to follow any God in the land and no caste,no state, no other language other than Hindi . That would be ONE !! The secular! Only then this statement of Modi would have sounded falling out of place.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, has clearly indicated who he considers his leader as and it is none other than senior BJP leader LK Advani who seem to have been side-lined in the BJP by the powerful NaMo mantra a.k.a. Gujarat CM, Narendra Modi. Although, for Modi,Chauhan stated was like his elder brother ( I think,to keep things clean and play safe).
Anyways, NaMo is a mantra which scares the Gandhi Dynasty 😀 then where do others political leaders stand , be it in BJP or the other parties, to challenge his present political supremacy. As the media says about NaMo- You can love him , hate him but cannot ignore him. 🙂
