Baba Ramdev to declare a revolution if PM does not respond by evening?

Baba Ramdev, who has organized a protest against govt currently on its 4th day at Jantar Mantar, has warned the Government of a big revolution if it does not assure him of taking immediate initiatives to bring back country’s black money procured abroad !

Hopefully, he is prepared this time ! Last year in June , police made a sudden mid-night raid which forced Baba Ramdev not only to jump from stage and run away from venue to avoid clash between his followers and the cops but also was seen wearing salwar-kurta(woman apparel) which he had to just to banish from the venue !

2014 General Elections !- Is the government ready for Team Anna’s new avatar ?

After the abrupt ending of the fast , Anna announced the possibility of his Team going on political stage to overthrow corrupt government ! It is quite possible that like many decisions, Anna took in the past, were guided by his Team members – Prashant Bhushan , Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Gopal Rai, to name a few , even this one may be promoted by his Team ! Well, it is not a bad idea , in the practical sense as both the UPA and NDA has lost its credit in the common man’s eye and nobody would mind a 3rd party, provided it wins with majority !

‘Deaf and Mute’ Govt wins over Team Anna’s agitation ?

Consider it a game lost against the UPA govt or a reason to find political alternative over fasting tactics, Team Anna has decided to call off the fast by tomorrow 5pm ! In a nutshell,one can conclude -‘Silence Speaks’ ! The govt kept silent ,did not respond in any way to the agitation and the result is a clear win over a national level protest.Arvind Kejriwal today, addressed the Government as ‘deaf and mute’ and declared the government will not pass the Lokpal Bill and that they would rather look for political alternatives to fight corruption. 🙁

Team Anna gives up.Fast to End tomorrow !

With the rising danger to key Team Anna members’ (Kejriwal,Sisodia and Gopal Rai)health due to continued fasting  and after being requested by eminent people like Anupam Kher,General VK Singh , Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and many more , Anna has decided to call off the Fast tomorrow at 5pm.

In between, he was heard asking people of India as to what should Team Anna do? Should they continue fasting or not ? What an absurd question to absurd set of people ? Had we been sensible enough to know what Team Anna should do , probably, we may have never needed some movement of this sort, in the first place?

The conclusion to the fast has however, been really practical one. Anna has decided to answer back political corruption, politically ! This means the formation of a new political party and the promotion of the same by Anna Hazare is decided ! This is no age of fasts and continued fasts and its not the British who are ruling India now. These fasts will never shake the corrupt leaders and the corrupt system unless it is replaced politically and completely by fighting and winning General Elections !

Team Anna enters 9th day of Fasting…Govt still not bothered !

Its the 9th day today , when key Team Anna members, Manish Sisodia,Gopal Rai and Arvind Kejriwal (who is also diabetic) have not eaten anything, demanding the government for an independent probe against 14 cabinet ministers! The government seems to be following the strategy of ‘Deaf Ears’ this time, with none from the government even bothering about the fast at Jantar Mantar, in the nation’s capital ! Doctors have been advising the 400 people on fast(including the Team Anna key members) to get hospitalized and Kejriwal being a diabetic, needs a mandatory hospitalization! However, the team has so far declined any medical assistance !  Delhi Police has been reminding the team of their written agreement to get hospitalized in case of emergency and to make sure there is no compromise in law and order due to the Fast held by the Team ! Interestingly, the unofficial speakers of UPA – Mr Digvijay Singh or Mr Salman Khurshid have not been heard making speeches against the Team Anna, anymore! Seems the government is firm this time and not willing to give any importance to the protest ! It would be interesting to see who would give up first, Team Anna or the UPA government! Most importantly, the opposition parties have preferred keeping out this time , probably, after Anna has declared the formation of a new political party , if need be, for 2014 General Elections ! There may be a second reason to it – Political Leaders are counted in numbers who can support Anti-Corruption Movement 😀  ! Rather they be shut to avoid trouble on self ! No one can deny , neither the Congress or BJP , the two major national level parties, have done anything up to the expectations  of their supporters(whenever they have held power) and 2014 elections will surely remind them of changing Indian mentality !

Salman Khurshid, The Union Law Minister , counter-attacked Team Anna to go to The United Nations seeking justice, if they did not believe in decisions of Supreme Court. He blamed Team Anna of raising issues which have been disapproved by the Supreme Court !

No matter how aggressive the campaigns of  Team Anna are, the government has surely been able to detach the interest of commoners from Anna’s movements,slowly and steadily. The constant delays and counter-verbal attacks from government representatives like Salman Khurshid and Digvijay Singh, questioning authenticity of Team Anna and its movements, has left commoners in dilemma !  The parliamentarians (be it in the government or sitting as oppositions) got together (at least in this matter) and launched verbal counter-attacks(and some preferred keeping their mouth shut) on Team Anna and calmed down the ‘aggression’ of  what could have been a ‘movement of reforms’ in Modern India !  The successfully spread the seeds of mistrust for Team Anna and their movements in the brains of commoners , through the same Media which had highlighted Anna as the next ‘Gandhi’ !

Whose efforts  should we appreciate – the parliamentarians or Anna and his Team or the media(which made money airing  Anna Hazare,a hero,initially  and then questioning on the  authenticity of the movement and people attached to it) ?

 

Supreme Court dismisses dis appropriate assets and corruption case against Mayawati ?

The judges said that the CBI was not justified in filing the case against Mayawati and pointed the case as illegal and without jurisdiction. In 2002, the Supreme Court had ordered the CBI to investigate the Taj Corridor case where she was accused of swindling money meant for development of Taj and surrounding areas and later cancelled on environmental grounds. While the CBI filed a case accusing her of misusing her post as CM for monetary gain, the Income Tax department ruled in her favour and the Delhi High Court too! Mayawati’s declared assets in 2003 Rs 1 crore which increased to 50 crores in 2007 and 200 crores in 2012. Mayawati expressed the money has been donated to her by workers of her party!

Team Anna says Pranab Mukherjee unfit for Presidential Post!

After the UPA had declared Pranab Mukherjee as the candidate for the Presidential Poll this for the first time Team Anna Key Members, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia have alleged that Pranab Mukherjee, the Trouble shooter of Congress, should not contest the Presidential poll as there is a corruption case against him. They alleged he has been named in the Rs 2500 crore rice export scam to Ghana. He is yet to get clean chit on the allegations and hence does not deserve to contest for President’s post !

Well, it does make sense to expect the President of India(at least) to be out of Corruption charges . It is the highest and most esteem position and should be handed over to equally competent individual and ironically, our Political System is looking forward to utilize even President’s Post for its interest ! 🙁
