Digvijay Singh has written to Arvind Kejriwal accusing him of politically ambitious and that he wanted to be NAC member since he has known him and has also requested him to answer 5 questions he is about to ask , to let Arvind prove his genuity towards his intentions of fighting against corruption.

Digvijay Singh as Kejriwal , in response to his letter, expressed,seems to be Congress’ last resort , as before.He has been in news counter-accusing anyone and everyone who speaks against Congress. Seems like counter-accusing people speaking against Congress, is on his priority lists of jobs assigned to him. 😀

Be it Mamata Banerjee,Anna Hazare , Shri Shr Ravi Shankar or Baba Ramdev or even Former General VK Singh ( and many more), Digvijay Singh has been commenting against anyone who seems a threat to the government. Well,this is quite patriotic,so what,if it is just towards his political party? 😀

While Salman Khurshid preferred to threaten Arvind Kejriwal,the crusader turned politician,after being accused of scamming in the name of an NGO run by Khurshid  and wife,Mr Gadkari from BJP preferred keeping silent while his party and even NCP head,Sharad Pawar and Sena Supremo,Bal Thackeray,also defended Gadkari.Meanwhile,a former Team Kejriwal member accused Kejriwal and IAC of hiding facts of Sharad Pawar about irrigation scam in Maharashtra. Arvind has been accused of targeting specific politicians in his move to expose scam.

Well,it has become very difficult to judge who is corrupt and who is not and if activists turned politicians have actually changed jobs for country’s benefit or their own! Are almost all politicians , corrupt in India? Is it worth trusting a crusader turned politician that he is or never would be like all others he is accusing of  being involved in scams? Will our country run on the mercy of our Gods,as ever? There is no denying that most of our leaders are opportunists and the ones who are not are misunderstood because of the corrupt politicians around.

After the split with Anna Arvind Kejriwal, who chose to enter politics to clean the ‘corruption’ led a protest at Jantar Mantar, against hike in power tariffs . Kejriwal took the opportunity to clear his stand on Anna and politics. He said,Anna just did not wish to enter into politics and he decided to do so to clean it up and that politics was not his choice but need of the moment.

Well, the big guns of the politics , whom all this while Arvind has been verbally accusing , might be very happy to see him enter politics , a game which they have mastered well and may surely give Arvind Kejriwal a hard time in future ! All we can do is pray for his well being as the New Face in Indian Politics.

Cartoonist or Terrorist ?

In the recent times, some politicians and political parties have taken Cartoons very seriously. Instead of getting the message from them they are dragging the cartoonists to the court of law.

Politicians somehow seem to be reacting impatiently towards criticisms and while  most of the parties talk about democracy and secularism , they seem to be hating democratic rights of  other citizens.

The fact is , columnists ,journalists and even cartoonists working under the banner of big media houses can never be questioned but if it is a commoner (like in case of Mamata Banerjee cartoon row and Aseem Trivedi who supports Anna’s India Against Corruption Movement)the administration leaves no stones un-turned to teach the commoner a lesson for lifetime.

Suddenly,everyone has a problem with cartoons and cartoonists. But why ? There are hundreds of aggressive (and factual) articles on newspapers everyday condemning , criticizing and/or attacking the administration and tens of live chat-shows accusing and debating on current political issues. Why are they not questioned if cartoons and cartoonists are ?

The biggest issue in Indian politics is that we are always made to choose between the worse and the worst. Almost all political parties misuse their position and power once they get enough votes and support (with all hopes) to form a state or national level govt. If our political parties were to be ranked for scams and corruption, they would certainly top the list throughout the world.We are a country mismanaged almost since independence,looted and re-looted by our administrators and today we are dying out of options when it comes to selecting the right political party to govern the country for betterment.

Baba Ramdev’s fast ends – Yet another failure ?

Fasts failed , movements died, govt congratulated itself  and the nation cried !-Jack(ed) Roberts 🙂

End of yet another fast with no strong conclusion , all the more, when Baba Ramdev has declared he would not surprise the nation by announcing his political party like the Team Anna. Considerably, this was as big a flop show as was Team Anna’s with the only difference that Baba could yet pull a huge crowd in support(after all he has a chain dealers and distributors for his patanjali products).

Did all this actually effect the Government? Even the official and unofficial speakers(Kapil Sibal,Digvijay Singh,Salman Khurshid) followed Prime Minister’s path of maintaining ‘ultimate silence’. The result – neither the Team Anna nor Baba Ramdev could force the government to even utter a single word related to their demands.

Has corruption and black money become so much a part of us that we do not mind at all ? Is there really a leader who can wake us up ? With the failure of two socially recognized giant leaders – Anna and Baba Ramdev, falling flat on ground,for not being able to deliver as committed, the nation ,so much comfortable with all odds around, may remain asleep for another decade or more letting the tree of corruption strengthen itself  !
