Sena Supremo Bal Thackeray Still Open To Accept Raj Thackeray back in Sena!

Shiv Sena Supremo Bal Thackeray hinted about his open arms for nephew Raj Thackeray back in Shiv Sena provided Raj initiates the move. Also the Sena Supremo admitted that Marathi Manus votes are getting distributed between MNS and Shiv Sena because their split.

Well, it does not seem Raj Thackeray will ever get back to Sena.In fact he has already walked few steps ahead successfully with MNS, now being considered a strong political party throughout Maharashtra, within few years. However, the fact for now remains that the new baby born out of the Sena is making the Sena weak by eating up considerable number of Marathi Manus Votes of the Sena. In the process , its the NCP and Congress which are becoming stronger.

Politics on the basis of religion , caste and state is getting weaker in urban cities of India, thanks to the minimum level of literacy in these areas however a great part of India is still rural and easily gets influenced by all the political parties who under the blanket of  well-wishers of particular religion ,caste or state , keep the flame of divide and rule alive throughout the nation.

Army Chief Withdraws his plea!

Finally,Official Date Of Birth Decided !

General Singh’s lawyer Puneet Bali, confirmed today that the petition from General V K Singh was withdrawn as the Army Chief was fighting for his honour and integrity and not for extention of his service tenure and the dignity has been restored.
Earlier today, the Supreme Court directed General V K Singh to accept May 10, 1950 as his date of birth and asked him to withdraw his plea failing which the court would pass an order on it. General Singh’s date of birth in Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) records is May 10, 1950 while his matriculation certificate has 1951 as the year of birth. The court told the General that the UPSC document was the most relevant document for recognition of age.
The apex court said that the recognition of General Singh’s date of birth as May 10, 1950 by the Army does not suffer from perversity and is not grossly erroneous. The judges asked General Singh why he did not get his date of birth corrected with the UPSC that had recorded it as May 10, 1950 and why did he fill up the Indian Military Academy form mentioning his date of birth as May 10, 1950 ?
The bench pointed out that all documents at threshold when General Singh joined the NDA and the IMA recorded his date of birth as May 10, 1950, which the Defence Ministry maintains is the official records. Observing that all threshold documents show his date of birth as May 10, 1950, the judges said that it was clear from voluminous documents that General Singh’s date of birth as May 10, 1951, but the question was that in primary documents it was May, 10 1950 and it would be taken as a final date for service matters.

Paint Blue,Get Tax Cuts- Kolkata ?

West Bengal Chief Minister , Mamata Banerjee is all set to grab the name of Blue City for Kolkata . Almost everything would turn blue, the roads , the flyovers, the trees and the cabs which were traditionally yellow! The popular Writer’s Building which cannot be changed from Red is covered by Glowing  Blue Light all around it, at night. The initiative does not stop here, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation plans to give tax benefits for those who paint their homes blue!

Well, uniformity of a particular colour , spread over a large area surely amazes the eyes and hopefully with the new Chief Minister Kolkata and West Bengal not only starts looking  beautiful from outside but from inside as well with chances for industries to flourish once again, in Ex-Capital of the nation(under the British Regime)!

RTI activist beaten up for trying to unearth corruption in MNREGA.

Right To Information But No Right To Complain ?

In the ICU at a Jaipur hospital lies a 65-year-old RTI applicant,Dudhram from Bikaner, Rajasthan  with multiple fractures. He was beten up by the supporters and relatives of Current Sarpanch of Somalsar Village in his attempt to unearth the corruption in MNREGA work. Amazingly, there have been no arrests so far even after  FIR has been lodged against 10 people invloved in the crime. The Right to Information activist, Dudhram had complained to the Anti Corruption Bureau about the allocation of Rs 4 crore for clearing sand and that led to the incident.

Well, what is the point of Right To Information Act if pointing out follies and intentional-manupulation by the administration would lead to hospitalization while the accused would not be held for the crime ?

Karnataka Ministers caught watching objectionable content on mobile, while in the Assembly!

In yet another shocking incident Karnataka Ministers were accused. It has been reported that two of  the  Ministers were found watching obscene content on their mobile phones and this all happened  inside the State Assembly. The two ministers are Karnataka Co-operation Minister Laxman Savadi and Karnataka Women and Child Welfare Minister CC Patil. Clarifying their stands the Ministers said they were trying to find out the meaning of a Rave Party!

They could have witnessed it live on the St.Mary’s Island !

Well, did they not get any better time to search for the meaning of Rave Party?  If the politicians of the nation do not respect the House, how do they expect us to think positive about them and feel secure under their regime ? One of them being Women and Child Welfare Minister is all the more eye-raising. The speaker of the House assured legal measures would be taken against the Ministers but the point is what do they go to the Assembly for? Reminds of College Boys who would get suspended for surfing the net over the phone while lecturer is taking classes !

‘Spring Zouk 2012’ – Party on St.Mary’s Island shamed the BJP government and Karnataka!

Rave Party on Cocunut Island(St.Mary’s Island), Karnataka?

The recent party organised by the Udupi district administration and the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) to promote global tourism, has embarrassed the ruling BJP and the state.  The Udupi district which is a stronghold of the BJP and a well-known pilgrimage centre for the Sri Krishna temple and the St.Mary’s Island, 6kms from Maple Beach. The beach where the ‘Spring Zouk 2012’ was organized by KSTDC in association with district administration and 3W concepts is considered to have been named by Vasco Da Gama, St. Mary Island, offering thanks to her for his accomplishments. The island comprising of 4 small islands is considered sacred by the minorities in the area and is also called coconut island.

Around 600 couples, mostly international tourists, attended the party and one of them was taped in camera while having sex in public. Reports indicate they were not the only one performing this act in public.Liquor and allegedly drugs were also available in the party. It was claimed as a proper rave party with hundreds of tents erected for the guests and booze and drugs in abundance.

Chief Minister D. V. Sadananda Gowda, on 6th of February 2012, ordered a probe into the matter and assured strict actions after the opposition party Congress, conducted a protest-march in Udipi last Sunday, blaming the government’s denial and inaction on the matter. They claimed religious sentiments of Christians were hurt with the island witnessing rave party. Gowda initially defended the three-day ‘international festival’. But he had to order a probe after a mobile phone clippings of at least one couple having sex during the party, reached local TV channels. The government and administration claims that the clipping may not be real as state cops were appointed there on duty while the party was taking place and no such incident was reported.

Well, BJP with RSS and Bajrang Dal being its allies has thrashed Indian couples in the past ,be it Valentine’s Day and many other occasions, claiming to protect the Hindu culture. The same organizations and their people eloped while such incidents took place in BJP ruled state. Does it not matter to the self-proclaiming saviours of Hindu culture to protest this incident, taking place in religiously important district for Hindus, if not the island?

Uttar Pradesh Elections – Haunting Nights For Political Parties!

Haunting Dreams prior to Elections

Satish Chandra Mishra , the BSP(Bahujan Samaj Party) National General Secretary in his public speeches, has been heard, taunting at Rahul Gandhi that  BSP symbol ‘Elephant’ haunts Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in his dreams.

With the trending support for Samajwadi Partyin Uttar Pradesh, led by Mulayam Singh Yadav, it might not be wrong to think if SP symbol, ‘Cycle’ may be haunting  BSP supremo and Satish Mishra .

Uttar Pradesh has been witnessing series of non-stop rallies and public – meetings from all parties acussing opponents and praising their respective parties. It is the Uttar Pradesh public which would decide fate of the parties. Hopfully, they select the right political party as it would effect the fate of nation as well.
