Team Anna enters 9th day of Fasting…Govt still not bothered !
Its the 9th day today , when key Team Anna members, Manish Sisodia,Gopal Rai and Arvind Kejriwal (who is also diabetic) have not eaten anything, demanding the government for an independent probe against 14 cabinet ministers! The government seems to be following the strategy of ‘Deaf Ears’ this time, with none from the government even bothering about the fast at Jantar Mantar, in the nation’s capital ! Doctors have been advising the 400 people on fast(including the Team Anna key members) to get hospitalized and Kejriwal being a diabetic, needs a mandatory hospitalization! However, the team has so far declined any medical assistance ! Delhi Police has been reminding the team of their written agreement to get hospitalized in case of emergency and to make sure there is no compromise in law and order due to the Fast held by the Team ! Interestingly, the unofficial speakers of UPA – Mr Digvijay Singh or Mr Salman Khurshid have not been heard making speeches against the Team Anna, anymore! Seems the government is firm this time and not willing to give any importance to the protest ! It would be interesting to see who would give up first, Team Anna or the UPA government! Most importantly, the opposition parties have preferred keeping out this time , probably, after Anna has declared the formation of a new political party , if need be, for 2014 General Elections ! There may be a second reason to it – Political Leaders are counted in numbers who can support Anti-Corruption Movement 😀 ! Rather they be shut to avoid trouble on self ! No one can deny , neither the Congress or BJP , the two major national level parties, have done anything up to the expectations of their supporters(whenever they have held power) and 2014 elections will surely remind them of changing Indian mentality !
