Amendments have been moved to the RTI Act to relieve political parties from being obliged to share details of their funding or how they choose their candidates. the Central Information Commission which ensures the RTI Act is implemented and public queries are answered by government departments, ruled that the six major national parties including the Congress and BJP are public authorities and must respond to RTI applications and in return, parties had argued that they are monitored and accountable for funding and other issues to the Election Commission hence should be exempted from RTI Act .
Akhilesh run SP govt has been severely criticized by the IAS body and retired bureaucrats over suspension of IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal, who had cracked down on the sand mafia in Greater Noida. Former UP chief minister , Mayawati , criticized Congress and its leaders for commenting on meals available for Rs 5 and Rs 12 and stated their comments indicate how far are they from ground realities. Mayawati ji is the same CM of UP who spent crores and crores of money on erecting statues of elephants (her party symbol) making parks of Dalit Leaders of past and astonishingly she got her statue done as well. 😀 Think poor people can live without meals but not without the statues of their beloved leaders . 😀 😀 😀 Does the Congress know that??? 😀
The former Chief Minister of Bihar , Lalu Prasad Yadav performed a two-hour-long ‘tantra’ puja at the Pagla Baba Ashram near Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh. Current CM , Nitish Kumar , was smelling conspiracy in Mid-Day Meal tragedy which killed 23 kids due to contaminated food at school. Any connections ? 😀 Interestingly, this tantra puja has been performed after the Supreme Court agreed to transfer the multi-crore fodder scam case to another judge, offering a greater relief to Lalu Yadav , as he is the prime accused in the scam. The judge who was currently handling his case is a relative of a minister in the Nitish Kumar and hence it was argued that decisions may be partial.
After Congress leader Rasheed Masood claimed that it is possible for a person to buy a meal for Rs 5 in Delhi and that even he spends less than 5 bucks for his meals, spokesperson Raj Babbar claimed proper meal in Mumbai for Rs 12.Now its the Union Minister Farooq Abdullah who said one can have a full meal for just Re 1 if desired depends on what he wants to eat.
With the politicians giving such statements,it is the poor Stand-Up Comedians who are bound to loose TRP of their comedy shows as our politicians seem to be cracking great jokes. 😀 Sorry Kapil ( not Sibal ji and not Dev ji) enhance thy art . Our politicians are doing better. 😀
