Congress has declared that Rahul Gandhi Vs Narendra Modi in 2014 General Elections is a ‘media joke‘ and that they have democratic procedure of electing a Prime Ministerial Candidate on behalf of the party . Well, Modi’s is yet another victory in Gujarat and Congress’ failure in Uttar Pradesh Elections where the campaign was led by Rahul Gandhi is self-explaining as to why Congress has no face to show Rahul Gandhi as competitor against Narendra Modi for prime ministerial post.
After two Indian soldiers were killed and one of them was beheaded,India and Pakistan conflict on the Line Of Control has started.Pakistan alleges that Indian army had entered in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir and killed one of Pakistani soldiers prior to the incident of Indian soldiers being brutally murdered and also denied any involvement.Amid statements from ministers from both the countries, the firing from both sides of the LOC has continued.’Aman Ki Asha’ the phrase which defined a fresh attempt by both the countries to improve relations with each other after the Kargil War has again suffered a major set back.
Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA ,Akbaruddin Owaisi who has been in news for his ‘hate speech’made against hindus, returned from London to Hyderabad, avoided surrendering to police on grounds of ill-health.Hyderabad Police which has been criticized for going slow on the issue went to Akbaruddin’s residence to question him on his alleged hate speech.Meanwhile,he applied for stay on his arrest in the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
Urban India may not be taking these hate speeches made by political leaders against other religion, caste and state too seriously but is it the same with rural India where the literacy level is comparatively very low. It is not only easy to play vote bank politics by giving hate-speeches against specific communities and groups but also readily possible to provoke violence between groups.
Be it Raj Thackeray making speeches against Biharis or Akbaruddin Owaisi making speeches against Hindus,is their sole motive not vote-bank politics? With law in one pocket and few goons in other, there are several political leaders throughout the country who dare the unity of India and yet roam about freely, unquestioned and never accounted for.
RSS chief,Mohan Bhagwat has added his name to the list of people making ireesponsible comments on rape. He is of the view that rapes happen in cities (India) where western culture is dominant whereas not in rural India (Bharat) which follows traditional customs and upbringing.
Abhijit Mukherjee,Son of President of India and Congress MP had created controversy making a remark on Delhi Gangrape protesters. He claimed that the women protesting did not look like students instead looked ‘dented-painted’.Smelling intense criticism and chaos he seeked unconditional apology and Congress declared no action against him as he had already apologized for his remarks.
More than his and Congress’ image,it is his father,President of India-Pranab Mukherjee’s image which Abhijit Mukherjee has hampered with his irresponsible statement on protesters of ‘Delhi gang rape’.
BJP winning 12 out of 19 Muslim vote bank dominated seats in Gujarat has given a strong message to the ‘Secular’ Congress party and has also indicated that the Muslims in Gujarat have moved beyond 2002.Interestingly,BJP did not give ticket to any Muslim candidate yet the miraculous support to Modi should let the Congress and other parties, who claim to be SECULAR,get the message that “aam aadmi’ (common man) needs a govt which delivers and not just sympathize in the name of minority community and schedule caste and tribe.
It is Narendra Modi yet again who would be the Chief Minister of Gujarat fight all odds. Neither Keshubhai Patel splitting out of BJP nor Congress’ repeated secular mask could stop brand ‘MODI’ from being the chosen one yet again. Interestingly, constituencies which were muslim dominated, as well, voted in favour of BJP. While the win in Gujarat has not shocked the Congress yet managing a win with almost 2/3rd majority has clearly given Narendra Modi the topmost position in BJP and has fueled the debate of his candidature as the PM face for NDA for the upcoming 2014 General Elections.
All he brought was list of controversies , Pakistan’s Home Minister, Rehman Malik, where he compared 26/11 terror attacks to Babari Mosque demolition, stated that Abu Jindal was an Indian Agent and to top it denied enough proof from Indian government to hold ,26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed ,guilty! To add on,he has left Indian Home Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde, humiliated with opposition asking why Shinde did not answer back when Malik was comparing 26/11 and Babari Mosque demolition and the media highlighting Shinde referring,Hafiz Saeed as ‘Shri’ and ‘Mr’ in the parliament. The question remains , what was the need of inviting Rehman Malik who has been popular for controversial statements and has delayed action against Pakistanis involved in 26/11 terror attacks and all the more when Pakistan is expecting a change of governance?
Mr U.S.Mishra,former CBI director accused pressure from government particularly while he was handling former Uttar Pradesh CM,Maywati’s,disproportionate assets case.As expected the government has denied any such allegations and has blamed it on BJP which was in the government at the time when Mr Mishra was the director.BJP on the otherhand says it is the Congress government which controls the CBI(Central Bureau Of Investigation) and uses it against political opponents and to keep allies in check.
Opposition has accused Chief Minister of West Bengal , Mamata Banerjee, for insulting Bengal when she stated that if put for auction,no one would even bid for Bengal.Mamata Banerjee has been blaming the Left govt for the financial crises which the state is going through since TMC has taken over the governance !
