Rahul Gandhi has been regularly making news these days with his statements at different rallies. To add another feather to his list of remarkable statements , he recalled while campaigning for 2009 elections in Bundelkhand,he got stomach bugs due to drinking village water and was bitten by about 25000 mosquitoes. BTW, is there any gadget to count the number of mosquitoes attacking us ? 😀
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that he was not above the law of the land and that CBI can ask him anything on coal scam and that he had nothing to hide. The opposition demanded his interrogation and resignation as he held direct charge of the Coal Ministry when two coal blocks in Odisha were assigned to a firm owned by industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla. Interestingly, the CBI, is ideally considered Govt’s pet. 🙂
Rahul Gandhi, in a rally got emotional talking about divisive politics blaming BJP for doing the same and spreading gatred.He said hatred killed his grand mother, Indira Gandhi and father Rajiv Gandhi and that he did not care even if he gets assassinated some day.
Well,who would bother assassinating him and most importantly WHY, is the biggest brainstorming question !! 🙂

In an interview, Sheila Dikshit,the CM of Delhi said she hopes to win it for the 4th time for her party,Congress, and also admitted that although activist turned politician , Arvind Kejriwal, has managed to catch people’s imagination but she has sincere doubts on the conversion of the same into votes. Ram Jethmalani, the popular criminal lawyer and politician who got expelled as the Rajya Sabha member of the BJP, has filed a defamation case against the Parliamentary Board of the party for sacking him seeking compensation of Rs 50 Lakhs each from the members excluding former BJP PM , Vajpayee and present BJP prime ministerial candidate,Narendra Modi.
