With the planet turning into a global village – thanks to the internet and growing human population(which is extending the length and breadth of cities),not far are the days when ‘Online Shopping’ would be an absurd term.Yes absurd because by 2030 Shopping would mean ‘Online’ only. Malls may replace to museums to show the future generation what shopping meant few decades back and many be replaced by dwelling towers specially in densely populated Indian sub-continent.
Cash On Delivery schemes have made orthodox Indian buyers bend down to online shopping and that declares the future of shopping would be in the virtual space solely. From electronic gadgets to apparels, to jewelries, to used cars, to online tutorial class services, every product and service has a market online which is increasing with every day passing by.With technology reaching out to the lower earning strata of society in the form of Smart Phone with Internet facility and increasing traffic and jams on roads and decreasing spare time to window-shop physically, browsing online shopping sites would be a part of lifestyle by 2030.The trend is simply in and will make physical shopping a word of history books. By 2030 dictionary meanings of Malls and Departmental Stores may change to a hub of website links of branded products and services. Window Shopping may mean surfing online shopping websites (which is already becoming a trend). The possibilities are quite likely because:
- Online Window Shopping saves time, physical exertion, and embarrassment of being stared by the sales guys inside the glass walls.
- It saves expenses and cuts down on middlemen thereby making the cost of products and services cheaper therefore quality products at cheaper rates.
- Internet , laptops and smart phones the much needed things for Online Surfing are readily available at affordable prices.

BJP is all set to declare Narendra Modi’s name as its PM candidate despite continuous opposition from senior leader L.K.Advani. Today, they might declare his name officially.
Previously, the BJP even tried convincing Advani on Modi being the PM candidate but failed. After all, dreams are dreams and Advani has been eyeing PM’s post since decades now.
The RBI has asked citizens not to use currency notes as garlands as they not only deface the notes but also shorten their lives. Mark of love around the bridegroom’s neck or mark of might and power around politicians’ neck(and there is one politician who truly flaunts the garlands of currency notes 🙂 ) , the garlands indeed deface the value of currency besides shortening its life-span.
Muzaffarnagar , Uttar Pradesh, has been burning since last few days after hit by riots.Death toll as per news sites has gone as high as 48 and Curfew has been imposed on the area. The Opposition has been doing its duty of asking Akhilesh Yadav, the CM of UP,to resign. Congress has declared the riots as repetition of ‘2002 Gujarat Riots’. The govt,on the contrary , blames the communal forces for the riots.
Interestingly, the political parties keep playing blame games ,politicizing the moment for personal interests while the biggest sufferer is the common man in such situations.
The Parliament passed a Bill to allow candidates in Jail to contest polls against the July 10th decision of Supreme Court which refrained such candidates from voting and contesting. It was sited that the court verdict was wrong and the Legislature has Constitutional duty to correct it and hence the Bill. Interestingly,it took only 15 minutes for this bill to be passed and Leader Of Opposition, Sushma Swaraj pushed for its passage even without a debate. After all jailed candidates may be vote-bank leaders. Who cares why they are jailed?
Explains it all. The Parliament stood united against the Anna Hazare and His Anti-Corruption Movement and he and his movement is ideally a history. They stood united yet again for a cause. 😉 After all, this was like Judiciary sitting on top of their head. A strong message to all who think India is separable. At least not our politicians. 😀
Jai Shankar aka Psycho Shankar who is serving 10 years term in one of the 28 cases on him related to ‘rapes and murders’ had managed to elope from a Bangalore prison climbing three 30 feet walls has been caught after 5 days of his run. Some say it was a tussle between the jail management people which let this escape happen and it is also found that out of 22 only 5 jail cameras were operative during the escape. There is a sincere doubt that some jail authorities were involved in the entire episode.A probe is, as expected, on. 🙂
Now,who is responsible for this arrest? Is it the team of cops or is it the common sense of a psycho ? 😀
