BJP won 47 out of 75 seats in municipal corporation elections. BJP aka Narendra Modi ,in Gujarat,with 24 Muslim candidates who all won it for the party, clearly indicate that even the minorities understand development would mean nothing but supporting Narendra Modi. Difficult to analyse if the Muslims of the state have actually forgiven Chief Minister Modi for the 2002 riots or it is just that they do not have any option but BJP if they seek to progress . With Congress which had won town elections for decades ended up winning none, the message seems clear.
