Beni Prasad regrets terrorist remark on Mulayam after Sonia Mulayam meet
20 MarBeni Prasad Verma , the much controversial Union Steel Minister,who once belonged to the SP(now in Congress) had previously accused SP supremo ,Mulayam Singh of having ‘terrorist connections’ in a rally. This had created a big chaos in the House as well where Mulayam and Beni,attacked each other verbally. Beni did not seem being sorry about his statement while SP demanded his resignation from his post as a compensation of their supremo’s insult from the government. Meanwhile,DMK(an ally of current government) quit the government over the Sri Lanka issue which could cripple the government if SP (which is supporting the UPA government from outside) takes its hands off due to Beni’s statement !
While Beni Prasad went to meet Manmohan Singh , the Prime Minister, Sonia met Mulayam Singh (probably to convince him to calm down on Beni Prasad’s issue). Sooner than later, Beni Prasad stated he regretted if his remarks (on Mulayam) hurt sentiments and that he apologizes for the same . 
Well, this is what we call politics . Nobody is a permanent friend or foe ! :D

PM’s stern warning to Italy to send accused marines back
13 MarPrime Minister,Manmohan Singh, has sent a strong warning to Italy to send the two Italian marines back to India who are facing charges of killing two Indian fishermen . With orders from Supreme Court of India the two marines were allowed to go back to Italy for attending elections and were scheduled to be coming back within 22nd of March’13. While the Italian Foreign Ministry has declared that the marines won’t be sent back to India for trial, all the pre-assurance from the officials of the country to the Supreme Court of India stood void. With the opposition targeting the government for being ‘soft’ on the issue because it has to do with Italy , PM Singh probably had to warn Italy of ‘consequences’ if the marines are not returned !
Looks like,the issue is bound to take up a big shape soon. Till then India should be celebrating that our PM has broken his silence at last and its a clear message -” Don’t Angry Me” . :)

New Draft of Lokpal Bill-Bedi ok Anna and Kejriwal not
1 FebWhile Anna Hazare has criticized the new draft of Lokpal Bill by the government, his team member ,Kiran Bedi,said it met most of the demands of a strong lokpal and is a baby step towards the same.Arvind Kejriwal , the ex-Team Anna member and the ‘Aam Aadmi Party’ chief has also declared his dissatisfaction with the new draft.
The name,Anna Hazare, got popular with the same Lokpal Bill issue which he wanted to be passed by the government, to curb down corruption in India and the same Lokpal Bill made him head a team called ’ Team Anna’ and then differences of opinion made Arvind Kejriwal, a prominent Team Anna member split and launch his political party- the Aam Aadmi Party-a political solution to fight corruption in India and all this paced down the India Against Corruption Movement led by Anna.Now it seems like another key member Kiran Bedi has a difference of opinion with Anna.Hopefully,she sticks around with Anna. 
The government,on the other hand, has not only been quite successful in curbing down the much-hyped ‘India Against Corruption Movement’ but has also successfully reduced the strength and impact of Anna and his Team.Kudos to the art of silence of our Prime Minister ’Maun’(means silence in Hindi)mohan Singh,the India Against Corruption Movement slowly and yet steadily lost its leadership,pace,goal and ultimately the interest and support of usually reluctant to react- ’Aam Aadmi’(common man). Well,the mystery remains unsolved if it was Team Anna itself or a clever brain of the Govt behind the sabotage of a world renowned movement led by Anna. :)
