BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani, yesterday, asked partymen not to be apologetic for the Ayodhya movement and instead take pride in it.It is a well known fact that BJP got a great political exposure only after the unfortunate Babri Masjid demolition and they got to power and formed a government at the Centre because of the issue and even lost it when they did not fulfill their commitment of constructing a Ram Temple on the disputed land of Ayodhya after coming to power. Riots allover India and neighbouring countries broke out taking hundreds and thousands of lives of hindus and muslims, thereafter.Followed was a series of bomb blasts in 1993 in Mumbai in retaliation to the Mosque demolition. Yet Advani ji takes pride on the movement !! Great !!
Well, should his partymen also be proud of his statement made on Jinnah that he was secular, while, on his visit to Pakistan ? The statement had created buzz all around and had left him speechless in front of the national media and his party. ;)
Take pride over Ayodhya Movement-Advani to partymen
Regardless,’Aam Aadmi Party’ be successful in 2014 Elections,at least, the country has some hope intact. Congress has got enough chance since independence,BJP does not seem that promising and a Third-Front formed by several small parties has always been a disaster in the past.
As per the ‘political ethics of Digvijay Singh,he claims to have proofs of families of former Prime Minister of opposition party(BJP) ,Atal Bihari Vajpayee (who otherwise always has a very clear image) and BJP’s veteran leader , L.K.Advani’s family members being invloved in scams but would never disclose it to keep the respect and dignity of senior leaders of the country, intact.
Is that believable? If it is,then the question arises that should Mr Singh show his respect towards the two veteran leaders of the opposition party or should he think in the interest of the country and expose scams , no matter whosoever is involved? Shall blaming people without exposing facts be considered an allegation, at all ?Anyways,Mr Singh has always been best at diverting the focus(of media and nation) from one topic to the other , in the interest of his political affiliation.
Seen mostly sitting quiet in Parliament and reading from a sheet when required to, who would have expected Sonia Gandhi to react aggressively to L.K.Advani’s comment on the government’s role in Assam violence !L.K.Advani the veteran opposition leader was forced to take back his ‘illegitimate’ remark on the UPA 2 Govt after Sonia Gandhi , for the first time ever, aggressively reacted to the remark !
Well, seems she has become possessive towards her party after being involved for decades now ! Live telecast of Parliament is as exciting and thrilling as a cricket match or WWE wrestling! One can easily spend time getting quality entertainment when half the elderly crowd there behaves like small kids in a classroom without the teacher ! In fact, they do not eve listen to the teacher (the speaker) who seems to be the most helpless person on earth , requesting unruly crowd to calm down , sit down and allow others to speak.
BJP the major opposition party is struggling for a leader with L.K Advani, Narendra Modi and Nitin Gadkari being three bosses running in their own directions and to add on NDA ally party JD(U)’s Nitish Kumar is also hopeful of being the candidate and he has been constantly discouraging Narendra Modi’s candidature ! It looks like a rat race so far !
Yeddyurappa has praised Pranab Mukherjee considering him best suited for the President’s post and also requested his own party supported candidate, P A Sangma to accept defeat and avoid going to Supreme Court to appeal against Pranab Mukherjee.Interestingly, BJP has been left red-faced after there has been cross-voting from Karnataka in favour of Pranab ! Is this Yeddyurappa’s way of showing discontentment towards his own party ? By the way, Who may be the cross voters ?
Shiv Sena’s willingness to support Congress led UPA candidate,Pranab Mukherjee,in the Presidential Poll is believed to have been motivated by Congress’ offer to keep Narayan Rane, once in Shiv Sena and now in Congress (hence a friend turned foe) in check and minimize his opportunity to become Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Even in the last Presidential Poll, the Sena had supported UPA candidate ,Pratibha Patil claiming she was Marathi. In return,Narayan Rane who was a major contender for Maharashtra’s Chief Minister’s post suddenly got sidelined. . Well, thats what we call politics !
Dr Kalam conveyed his message of opting out from the President’s Poll to BJP Senior Leader, Lal Krishna Advani and this has left the NDA alliance in a fix. Dr Kalam was the only candidate the NDA was willing to build consensus on.Parties like Akalidal and JDU of the NDA are willing to support Pranab Mukherjee, the contestant from the UPA. Seems like there is no stopping for Pranab Mukherjee with Dr Kalam dropping the idea of contesting for the President’s Post.
